Background
The digital transformation of the construction industry continues, transforming an entire sector. New training courses need to meet these changing needs. Building Information Modelling (BIM) plays an important role in the digitalization of the construction industry. It is not only about building more digitally, but also about using the digital transformation to build better, more resource-efficient, climate-friendly and quality-assured buildings, and also to demolish them. The symposium will bring together interested parties to discuss training concepts for digital design, training concepts that will take everyone on the path to digital building design.
The symposium will take place on Wednesday, 31 January and is embedded in the 10th Oldenburger BIM-Tag. After the official opening of the conference, the symposium will take place throughout the day in three thematic blocks. Various players in the field of training and knowledge transfer on digital design in the construction industry will have their say. They will report on new teaching concepts, present training structures and share their practical experiences. An integral part of the symposium will be the international Erasmus+ project Digital Decathlon, which will be represented by the Jade University of Applied Sciences in Oldenburg. More information will be aviable soon.
