The DIGITAL DECATHLON was presented at BIM Cluster Meeting in Hanover
The cluster meeting took place on 13.06.2024 in Hannover. The BIM Cluster Hannover is aregional network focused on the promotion and implementation of BuildingInformation Modeling (BIM) in the construction industry. The cluster consistsof a large number of stakeholders, including building owners, planners,architects, engineers, construction companies, universities and other interestgroups. The aim of the BIM Cluster Hannover is to promote the exchange ofknowledge and experience on BIM, to initiate joint projects and to driveforward the digitalization of the construction industry. Regular meetings,workshops and events are held to support members in effectively using the BIMmethodology and developing innovative solutions for sustainable construction.
At the cluster meeting, Prof. Dr. Sebastian Hollermann from the Jade Universityof Applied Sciences in Oldenburg presented the "Aufladen" and"Digital Decathlon" projects, which are being carried out by the JadeUniversity as education and training formats in the context of BIM use cases.These formats offer students as well as small and medium-sized enterprises(SMEs) the opportunity to intensively deal with the practical applications ofBIM (Building Information Modeling) and to expand their skills in this area.
